Sasan Seyedi launched a Kickstarter campaign for Cyrus 3D printer last year but was not fully funded. This year, Sasan comes back with a new Cyrus printer with extra features.

The Cyrus is a compact fully assembled desktop 3D printer with a built-in spoolhoolder on the back. It comes with a small metal geared stepper motor with a torque of 1.0Nm to lower the chances of the filament getting stuck.

The printer features heated bed, dual head, silent operation, built-in LCD panel with onboard SD card support, wireless/network printing ready and build volume of 195 mm x 195 mm x 200 mm.

With Cyrus you can print various materials such as PLA, ABS, LAYWOO-D3, HIPS, Bendlay, PVA, PET and even SmartABS. According to Sasan, the Cyrus 3D printer can print up to 20 micron resolution.

price too high. print quality, unimpressive. also,,, using a makerbot model to promote their product? http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:205869 (Aztec Chief) that's just bad form.

I am building printers with larger volumes for $350. For that price it would need to do something extra or print extremely well. Those are average to low prints in term of quality. There is so much people could do. I don't understand why they are keeping with the status quo and then charging extra for it. So confused.

Good luck with that build volume, in that price range, with one extruder.

What happened with the idea of do it accesible for everyone??? 1400€ it's not accesible for everyone, and there is a lot of better options at this price.

It looks like an uninventive clone. Pass.
