Shining 3D, the leading 3D digitizing and 3D printing company based in China, has just debuted the much anticipated EinScan-Pro+ handheld 3D scanner and the Einstart-C desktop 3D printer at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. As two of the launches we’re most excited about at CES 2017, the EinScan-Pro+ and the Einstart-C represent some the most accessible 3D technologies on the market today for global prosumers and consumers alike. With these product launches, Shining 3D enables users to digitally capture 3D objects and reproduce them more easily than ever before.

CES visitors may remember the Chinese tech manufacturer’s launch of the EinScan-Pro 3D scanner last year at CES 2016. The acclaimed 3D scanner generated considerable buzz due to its four scanning modes geared towards consumer and commercial applications in manufacturing, engineering, design, development, testing, artwork archiving, animation, and human form acquisition.
Now with the EinScan-Pro+, Shining 3D eagerly builds on the industry-leading scanning quality of the Ein-Scan Pro, while simultaneously introducing a number of exciting and affordable new innovations to the model.
Some of these updates include new technology added to the EinScan-Pro+’s handheld high-definition scanning mode (Handheld HD Scan), allowing excellent 3D scanning speed without compromising any detail acquisition. The range of single-frame scanning has also been increased 1.6 times, offering a substantial improvement in the scanning speed of Handheld HD Scan mode. Additionally, the new R² (Rapid Registration) scanning module has been added to the handheld rapid scanning mode (Handheld Rapid Scan), and can now be activated in both the EinScan-Pro and EinScan-Pro+. Rapid Registration is an optional module available for an extra payment, and can be activated after purchasing a license.

Next up in the Shining 3D CES product launches is the Einstart-C, a stylish and compact 3D printer using fused filament fabrication (FFF/FDM) technology. This new and highly affordable desktop system effectively combines state of the art features and accessibility, making it simple and intuitive to use for both professionals and beginners.
the Einstart-C
The Einstart-C is equipped with a single nozzle extruder, and is capable of printing objects as large as 6” x 6” x 6” in PLA. Several key safety features of this plug-and-play model make it ideal for home and school. Full system enclosure prevents injuries and burns while operating the Einstart-C, and sensors (which can be easily deactivated and re-activated) ensure that the door is closed before starting the 3D printing process. The new model also introduces a cutting-edge auto calibration function, with three built-in sensors inside the printing bed. Equipped with full height detection, the desktop 3D printer can fully automate the calibration process, and is even able to compensate for any difference in height that may arise during printing.
The Einstart-C features three printing modes: as a standalone printer, it enables connection-free printing through its USB thumb drive; the desktop printer can also be connected to a computer through an enclosed USB cable; or the Einstart-C can function via wireless printing through a standard Wi-Fi connection.
As an added bonus, users can freely access Shining 3D’s vast online data library at 3DKer.com, select a 3D model, and 3D print it on their Einstart-C in just a few clicks. With 4GB of local flash storage, the system will automatically save the print file before printing.
To find out more, Shining 3D invites CES 2017 visitors to schedule a personal meeting with the EinScan team, who are readily available to discuss projects and applications, and provide custom solutions for businesses.
The Shining 3D CES 2017 booth is located in the Sands Expo, Level 2, Halls A-D, Booth #42335. The booth will remain open for the entire length of CES, January 5-8.
