FELIXprinters has recently expanded its extensive 3D printer portfolio with the launch of the FELIX Pro 3 system. The new Pro 3 incorporates automated motorized calibration of the print bed, quick-swap print-head solution and fast rotation (less than 10 seconds) of print-heads in the dual head configuration.

The print heads are also quick to heat up and cool down, meaning that the dual head print times are reduced by a factor of 2. FELIXprinters improved the overall temperature control of the Pro 3 with optimal object cooling thanks to dual high power blowers. The results are the  more consistent extrusion of filament and more accurate printed objects.

The Pro 3 also features a new touchscreen module with an integrated print server. This small and powerful octacore computer offers a smooth and intuitive user interface, real time remote webcam monitoring of print job, multi-user control via a web interface, print file management, WiFi and Ethernet connectivity, the ability to render g-codes, and to create a time lapse of the print.

The new FELIX Pro 3 3D printer boasts a build volume of 235 x 244 x 235 mm and supports PLA, PETG, ABS-X and PVA materials, or any filament which melts under 275 °C.

"The Pro 3 has been developed to integrate seamlessly into industrial workflows, whether that is in an office, a workshop, lab or factory environment," commented Guillaume Feliksdal, founder and Director of FELIXprinters. "The priority was to deliver a 3D printer that produces optimised print results every time. This is what customers tell us is most frustrating for them in their day-to-day operations with 3D printing, and these are the issues we set out to address with the Pro 3. The feedback we are getting back from our beta testers is hugely impressive."

The FELIX Pro 3 3D printer is now available from €2,600.
